MARK KOWCHECK

Mark was born April 3, 1968, in Washington, PA, to the late Hugh and Esther Sphar Kowcheck. Mark retired after 37 years from the Iron Workers Local #3 where he worked for Dellovade, Mohawk Construction and Viking Erectors. Mark was also the owner of Kowcheck tree and stump removal. Mark was raised in St. Michael Catholic Church in Avella, Pa, and was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Wellsburg, WV.

In addition to his parents Mark was preceded in death by two brothers, Daniel Kowcheck and David Scott Garrett.

He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Theresa Reed Kowcheck, two daughters Jentzen Kowcheck of Austin, TX, and Karleigh Kowcheck of Avella, PA, one brother Eric Kowcheck of Avella, PA, and one sister Danielle Kowcheck of Washington, PA. Visitation will be held December 26, 2024, from 4-8 pm at Reasner Funeral Home 1515 Charles St., Wellsburg, WV. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be held December 27, 2024, at 11 am at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Wellsburg, WV. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery, Avella, PA.
