JOSHUA MILLER

He was born October 26, 1982, in Wheeling, WV, son of the late Howard Miller, Jr. and Karen Elizabeth Dupke Miller.

He was a Sanitation Operator for the City of Wheeling and a member of the Salvation Army. Josh started as a Junior Firefighter with the Mozart Volunteer Fire Department and worked his way up to Fire Chief where he served for 5 years.

You could always rely on him whenever anything was needed. He had a heart of gold and was always helping others. He loved to throw darts and was on many teams out of The Windmill. He loved his family & friends.

He is survived by his sister, Jennifer (Edgar) Miller; two brothers, Howard Miller, III, Jason Miller; many nieces, nephews, and cousins including Dan (Candi) Millhouse, Michael Millhouse; best friend, Robyn McLaughlin; and stepmom, Helen Miller.

Friends will be received on Friday, December 27, 2024 from 4-7 PM & Saturday, December 28, 2024 from 10 AM until the time of service at 12 PM at Kepner Funeral Homes, 900 National Road, Wheeling, WV (304-232-2732) with Lieutenant John Lawrence officiating.

Following the service a reception will be held at the Mozart Volunteer Fire Department, 25 S. Frazier Ave, Wheeling, WV 26003.
