JOANN CAPP

Joann was born on January 26. 1934 in Wheeling, WV. She was the daughter of the late Walter Staten and Thelma (Schupbach) Staten.

Joann was a homemaker that loved to bake and cook. Many will remember Joann for her love of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Joann was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Ernest Capp, and her four siblings, Robert “Bob”, Walter and Fred Staten and Jackie Wilson.

Joann is survived by her son, Ernest Capp and his wife, Marianne, three grandchildren, Joshua Whitt, Jeremy Whitt and Jenna Wilson and her husband, Mark, two great grandchildren, Audrianna and George “Geo” Wilson and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, December 30, 2024 from 3:00-7:00 PM and again on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 from 10:00 AM until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at the Chambers Funeral Home, Wellsburg, WV (304)737-3551 with Minister Larry Lemasters officiating.

Interment will follow at Kadesh Chapel Cemetery, Beech Bottom, WV.
