JANET MORGAN

She was born October 23, 1935 in Marshall County, WV; the daughter of the late Randall and Nora Taylor Stewart.

Janet was a custodian for coal mining offices; member of Hillview Terrace Church of Christ, Homemakers, TOPS and Jr OUAM Lodge; and caretaker for over 30 years with husband, Lloyd, of Mt. Rose and Greenlawn Cemetery.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd J. Morgan; and a granddaughter, Allison Payne.

Survivors include one son, Randy Morgan; two daughters, Kathy Payne and Penny (Jim) Crow all of Moundsville; one sister, Hilda French of Moundsville; six grandchildren, Melissa (Mike) Brandon, Aubrey (Duke) Glover, Lyndsey (Chad) Carpenter, James (Chantel) Crow, Miranda (Charlie) DeBeni, Karyssa Morgan; 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends Sunday, December 1, 2024 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Grisell Funeral Home and Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville, where services will be held Monday at 1:00 PM with Evan. Andy Robson officiating.

Interment will follow in Mt. Rose Cemetery, Moundsville.
