DAVID McKEEN

David was born March 25, 1965 in Barnesville, Ohio to Larry N. McKeen and the late Karen Freeman McKeen.

David was the President and CEO of McKeen Security, which he formed in 1994. He served on various board of directors and was active in the communities he served. David was a 1983 graduate of Union Local High School and attended Ohio University.

David enjoyed traveling, going to concerts, watching sports and most of all hanging out with family and friends and his dog Jerry and grand dog Bruce. Dave lit up every room he was in and always had a way of making everyone laugh with his contagious sense of humor. He was known as “Uncle Dave” to many. He was protestant by faith.

David is survived by his loving wife of 34 years Anne Weigand McKeen; his daughter, Megan McKeen Sides (Justin) of Panama City Beach, his two brothers, Mark (Lori) McKeen of Estero, FL and Joe McKeen of Belmont, OH; his nephews, Mark McKeen Jr., Zachary McKeen, Michael McKeen and niece, MiKayla McKeen.

A Celebration of Life will be held on December 7, 2024 in Panama City Beach with family and friends in attendance. Services will be officiated by Pastor Steve Irwin of Woodlawn Church. Expressions of sympathy and condolence may be shared at www.kentforestlawn.com
