HAROLD SACCO

Harold "Harry" Paul Sacco, age 70 of Bethlehem/ Wheeling, WV passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at his home with his family by his side.

He was born May 9, 1947 in Wheeling, WV the son of Harold C. and Bertha Grub Sacco.

Harry was a retired Music Teacher with the Marshall Co. Board of Education and currently worked as a Financial Advisor.

He was a member of the Moundsville Lions Club, President of the American Federation of Musicians Local 142, Past President of the Retired Teachers Association, an avid bicyclist, a referee of both soccer and lacrosse, and Co-Founder of Hob Snobs.

Harry had a love for music and played at many events and weddings in the area; an original member of Brass Unlimited; member of Vince Villanova Big Band Group, and played in many local brass bands.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Kathryn Shaw Sacco; his mother; two daughters, Paula Bubulya of Dayton, OH and Anne (Aaron) Simmons of Yosemite, CA; three sons, Marc (Donna) Sacco of Uintah, UT, Jeff (Amie) Sacco of Plano, TX, and Michael Sacco of Pittsburgh, PA; two brothers, Robert (Sharon) Sacco and Ronald (Christine) Sacco all of Wheeling; a sister, Patricia (Gary) Hoffman of Wheeling; nine grandchildren, Alexus, Jazmyne, Alec, Dakotah, Austin, Ryan, Anna, Sophia, and Zackery; brother in law, Jim Shaw of Texas; sister in law, Janet (Dr. Romeo) Tan of Moundsville; and several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 1 Ridgecrest Road, Wheeling.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
