New Marshall County Commissioner McLaughlin Sworn In
David McLaughlin was sworn in Monday by Circuit Court Judge C. Richard Wilson as the newest member of the Marshall County Commission. McLaughlin defeated incumbent Mike Ferro in November to earn the seat.
“This marks an exciting new chapter for my family and our county,” McLauglin told reporters. “I am deeply grateful to the voters for placing their trust in me and electing me to this important role. I look forward to collaborating with the current commissioners, as well as our appointed and elected county officials and their dedicated staffs.”
McLaughlin is the current director of operations and development for Benwood. He served as a police officer in the city for 20 years. He has served two terms as Marshall County magistrate and was a Glen Dale council member.
