The ever popular Amanda Jones & The Family Band is returning to St. Clairsville from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Central Park Complex stage.
Amanda Jones and The Family Band is fronted by Amanda Jones whose powerful belting vocals have been the key to the band's success.
From her original material, through various popular covers to a Sugarland tribute act, Jones never lets off the gas. Her strong vocals and commanding stage presence demands attention.
Jones has recorded her first four-song EP is currently recording additional songs in Nashville for a full-length CD release. A junior biochemistry major at the University of Mount Union, she continues to balance her time between featured songwriter nights in Nashville and gigging with The Family Band all over the tri-state area.
Other band members include: Brittany Fensternmaker on keys and backing vocals; Nathan Fenstermaker on bass; Michael Myhal on acoustic guitar; Frank McDougal on drums; Michael Seifert on guitars and keys.
The summer concert series will be held each Tuesday through July 29, with the exception of the concert on Wednesday, July 2 featuring the United States Air Force Band.
The Tuesday night concerts will be held from 7-9 p.m. at the stage area at the City's Central Park Complex Amphitheater located at 102 Fair Ave.
The concerts have free admission, though donations are accepted.
Handicapped parking and restrooms are available, as are concessions.
Concert-goers are asked to bring their own lawn chair or blanket. No alcoholic beverages permitted.
