Scott Strode, Bonnie Henthorn and Jimmy Wyatt all won election Tuesday to the Tyler County Board of Education.
According to unofficial vote totals, Strode had 739 votes, or 23 percent of the total; Henthorn, 685, 22 percent; Wyatt, 646, 20 percent.
James Mason garnered 593 votes, or 19 percent of the total, while Kevin Roberts had 512 votes.
Henthorn is a graduate of the Tyler County School system who says she is passionate about the education of our children.
"I am interested, available, and qualified to be actively involved in preparing our children for a successful life in an ever-changing world, as lifelong learners and as active members of our communities," Henthorne said.
