HAYES, Todd J., age 46, of Glen Dale, WV, died Sunday, December 8, 2013, at home, surrounded by his wife and two friends.

He was born September 5, 1967, in Parkersburg, WV, the son of Paul and Jo Ann Adams Hayes of Wheeling, WV.

He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church of Moundsville; a Graduate of Marshall University, having received his Masters Degree from WVU; an Account Manager with the Ohio County Commission; a former Commercial Loan Officer at BB&T, Progressive Bank, and Ameribank; a former Deputy Director of OVIBDC; a former Director of Sales & Marketing for National Equipment, Wheeling; a former board member of Big Brothers & Big Sisters; a board member of Ohio County Development Authority, Bel-O-Mar Regional Council Executive Committee, and Work Force Investment Board, having served one year as Chairman of the Board; and a member of the Italian Festival Bocci Committee, Garibaldi Lodge, and Sons of Italy.

In addition to his parents survivors include his wife of 22 years, Marcia DiCresce Hayes; father and mother-in-law, Jerry and Claudette DiCresce of McMechen, WV; brother, Dave (Natalie) Hayes of Tampa, FL; sisters, Debbie (Pete) Lett of Cross Lanes, WV and Tammy (Brent) Richmond of Glen Dale, WV; brother-in-law, Mike DiCresce of McMechen and sister-in-law, Lori DiCresce of Parkville, MD; nieces and nephews; David Hayes, Danielle Evans, Adam and Carrie Lett, Amanda Richmond, Kelsey Hayes and Lauren DiCresce, and a special nephew, Jacob Stoner.

Family will receive friends Wednesday from 5-9 p.m. and Thursday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Avenue, Moundsville.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, Oak & Linden Avenue, Moundsville with Rev. Bruce Bevans officiating.

Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
