June Likins

LIKINS, K. June Scritchfield, 85, of Wheeling, WV, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2013, at her home.

She was born June 3, 1928, in Earnshaw, WV., the daughter of the late Nathaniel J. And Jessie Williams Scritchfield.

Mrs. Likins was a Protestant by faith. She was a past member of the El Tor Grotto Auxiliary. Mrs. Likins loved her family and she loved and enjoyed music and singing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Carlton Likins in 2004; two brothers; and five sisters.

Surviving are two sons, Dewey C. Likins of Deltona. FL and Kenny Likins and his wife, Sue of Wheeling, WV; two granddaughters, Anna Moore and her husband, Jim of Bellaire, OH and Beverly Pockl and her husband, Jason fo Wheeling, WV; seven great-grandchildren, Devyn Nickerson, Brooke Moore, Clay Moore, Dylan Moore, Faith Moore, J. T. Pockl and Reagan Pockl; several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, December 2, 2013, at the Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger St., Wheeling (304-242-2311) where services will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2013, at 11 a.m. with the Reverend R. Paul Schafer officiating. Interment in Park View Memorial Gardens, Wheeling.
