Price also attributes some of the restaurant's success to location as Cheddar's is located across from Cabela's, a popular tourist attraction.
Wherever customers are from, Cheddar's treats them with care.
"Customers aren't treated as guests," Price explained. "They're treated as family."
For Price, that same attitude towards customers translates to employees.
His favorite part of serving as general manager is working with staff.
Cheddar's also places value on working with other businesses in the community.
The restaurant sometimes utilizes locally-based Jebbia's Market for produce, Coleman's Fish Market for seafood and Nicky's Garden Center for landscaping services.
Price noted that every week, Cheddar's donates lunch to one local business. WesBanco and the Hampton Inn are among such businesses.
What makes Cheddar's stand out from its competition?
"We're a 99 percent scratch kitchen," Price stated. "We make everything in-house."
