GLEN DALE- It was a homecoming for Dr. Kristy Menendez when she joined the Tri-State Audiology team in opening their Glen Dale office in 2007. After six years in business she said the agency's mission remains the same, providing localized and personal service while keeping up with the latest advancements in technology to diagnose and treat hearing loss, dizziness and disorders as well as provide oral rehabilitation and guide patients in the hearing aid process.
Readers of The Intelligencer and Wheeling News-Register showed their appreciation when they elected Tri-State Audiology as this year's second place winner in the Ohio Valley for audiology and as a hearing aid center.
"This is where I'm from," Menendez.

Doctors Ronny Warrington, left, and Kristy Menendez, representatives for Tri-State Audiology, said they are honored to receive distinciton from the Ohio Valley Community.
"I was born and raised here, and I was happy to open a business in my home community. There's a need for the services we offer."
Menendez said Tri-State Audiology serves all patient populations in the area from newborn children to the elderly. Dizziness testing and pediatric audiology are a few of the care offerings which make them unique, Menendez said, along with offering a wide range of hearing aids.
Dr. Ronny Warrington works at the agency's Weirton office,
In 2012 Warrington said the audiologists joined HearUSA, a nationwide network of hearing care agencies. He said the network allows patients to receive prompt and efficient care anywhere in the country as long as they can find a member clinic, their records accessible by all.
"Not only does the customer get better care but we get more resources," Warrington said.
Menendez agreed, saying the network holds its members to a high standard which requires almost continuous training to keep Tri-State Audiologists up to date on the latest technologies and clinical techniques.
"We're honored and we thank our loyal patients," Menendez said as she discussed the Readers Choice distinction.
"We strive to make sure our patients are happy and well cared for. We try to fit with patients' personal needs and find what works best with each individual patient."
Serving thousands of patients from Weirton to Glen Dale, Menendez said Tri-State Audiology enjoys a positive relationship with primary care providers.
"We get a lot of physician referrals," Menendez said. "Physicians trust us."
Moving forward, Menendez said patients throughout the Ohio Valley can still count on the offices to serve them as neighborly caregivers.
"People know us as Tri-State Audiology," Menendez said. "They should still expect the same service, that same in-home feeling when they come here."
