Natural Law Includes Right to Self-Defense

Editor, News-Register:

In Romans, Chapter 13, Honor Authority, God States the purpose of human government is to uphold the good and punish the evil. Right and wrong is determined by the state. Government officials are leaders, elected and appointed to render justice for the innocent. But if the innocent are subjugated to unlawful acts of government injustice, the innocent then have the right, under natural law, to seek justice on their own terms.

Natural law is the express necessary and obligatory rules of human conduct which have been established by the author of human nature - God. The rules are essential to the divine purpose in the universe and have been promulgated solely through human reasoning that is based on morality which is derived from the senses of human beings and nature as to what is right and to what is wrong.

The power of natural law is the will to follow the dictates of its unrestricted choice and to direct the external acts of the individual without restraint, coercion or control from other persons.

Natural law is also a right that is covered and protected under the terms of the Rights to Liberty (self-defense) that is guaranteed in the United States Constitution.

In seeking justice, under natural law, against enemies that have harmed you and put you in harm's way, you have the right to self-defense and to offensive action to prevent hostilities against you. You even have the right to take a life, to protect yours, if you feel your life is in grave danger.

Plainly stating, under natural law, you have the right to stand your ground and fight, even in your own home when attacked by an aggressor. And, you have the right to use whatever means and force is proper and necessary.

No one can take this right from you. Not even the government.
