July 30, 2013
By CASEY JUNKINS - Staff Writer , The Intelligencer / Wheeling News-Register

By November, there will be about 50 people working at the new Pilot Flying J Travel Center along Ohio 149, just south of the Interstate 70 exit 208 in Belmont County.

Just across the road, the new 63-room Sleep Inn and Suites will help house natural gas drillers and pipeliners who are working in the area as part of the Marcellus and Utica shale rush.

"Our team can't wait to start making life better for America's drivers traveling through the Belmont area," said Pilot Flying J Chief Executive Officer Jimmy Haslam. "We're looking forward to the completion of our new travel center."
