ST. CLAIRSVILLE - A newly constructed outdoor radio-controlled vehicle track is expected to be highlighted during this year's Belmont County Fair, slated Sept. 3-8 at the fairgrounds off Roscoe Road.
Gerald Campbell, president of the Belmont County Agricultural Society, said the new track will be open all summer, but an exhibition of sorts will be put on during the fair.
"The cars go 30-70 mph," Campbell noted.
Shown here is the Zipper carnival ride during the Belmont County Fair.
In addition to food, games, rides, animals and more, other highlights of this year's fair include musical act Phil Dirt and the Dozers at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. There will also be a Bengal tiger show at various times each day of the fair.
And an Abraham Lincoln impersonator will be on hand to give history lessons Thursday.
