James Anderson

ANDERSON, James E., age 80, of Moundsville, WV, died Thursday, April 25, 2013, in Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling, WV.

He was born September 3, 1932, in Moundsville, the son of the late Henry and Olive Dowler Anderson.

He was a Korean War Air Force Veteran; retired employee from Marx Toy and Ormet; a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Moundsville VFW Post 437, and Earl Francis Post 3 American Legion.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Tom Anderson; two infant brothers, Donald and Dale Anderson; three sisters, Marguarite Young, Nancy Schlumberger, and Rosemary Shuttlesworth; three nieces and nephews, Sam Young, Mike Anderson, and Terry Defibaugh.

Survivors include nieces and nephews, Diana Carroll, Cathy Ott, Bill Shuttlesworth, Linda (Rev. Todd) Frail, Vernon Anderson, Chuck (Coreen) Anderson, Tim (Sue) Anderson, Carl Schlumberger, Curt (Pam) Schlumberger, and Kelly Schlumberger; and several great- nieces and great-nephews.

Family will receive friends on Sunday from noon-2 and 6-8 p.m. at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville where funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. with Jim Bickerton officiating.

Interment in Highland Cemetery, Cameron, WV, where the Moundsville Honor Guard will conduct Military graveside services.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made the American Heart Association, 162 Court St., Charleston, WV 25302 or to Charity of Donor's Choice.
