Madge Morgan

MORGAN, Madge B., 94, of Indian Creek, Tyler County, passed from this earth on April 4, 2013 at the Sistersville Center.

She was born February 5, 1919 to Albert and Celia Gaston Tennant in Tyler County.

She was married on April 4, 1936 to Ingram D. Morgan.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by three sisters, Mabel Yeater, Rachael Spencer, Catherine Morris; a brother, Ernest Tennant; and one great-grandson, Michael Kinney.

She is survived by one daughter, Peggy (Ray) Mead of New Cumberland; and one son, Jerry (Betty Jo) Morgan of Alma. Also surviving are grandchildren, Cheryl Kinney, Jeff Mead, Curtis Mead, Stacy Morgan and Ryan Morgan. She leaves great-grandchildren; Renea, Jessica, Erica, Jeremy, Kali, Colton, Jacob and Reese.

Madge was a member of Victory Church, Alma. She was active in Senior Citizens until the last few years, enjoyed quilting and living alone until age 90. She had a love of life, loved her neighbors, and her family. She will be deeply missed by all.

Friends will be received at Furbee Funeral Home, Route 18, Tyler, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday where services will be held 11 a.m. Monday. Interment in Victory Cemetery, Alma.
