STEUBENVILLE -- Judge Thomas Lipps early this afternoon granted immunity to a second witness to the alleged rape of a 16-year-old Weirton girl.
The witness, a senior at Steubenville High School, invoked his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination upon taking the stand. Lipps, as he did for the day's first witness, awarded immunity from prosecution.
The witness also testified in October during the preliminary hearing.
