MORGANTOWN - Kylie Howard hit a pair of free throws in overtime to give John Marshall a lead and ultimately a victory against University in girls' basketball action Wednesday night.
Howard hit three 3-pointers and finished with 30 points for the Monarchs (9-1). Tori Derrow added 16 points and Kristin Lewick finished with 10.
Mariah Callen scored 22 points to pace the Hawks (7-1).
