Brielle Shane Cecil and Gabriel Bryan Koontz were united in marriage Saturday, Dec. 29, at the McLure Hotel, Wheeling, with Jeremy Joy officiating the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Ardith and Tammy Cecil of Moundsville.
The groom is the son of Gary and Tracy Koontz of New Martinsville.
Brianna Cecil, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Ethan Koontz, brother of the groom, served as best man.
Other attendants were Brittany Cecil, sister of the bride; Adam Koontz, brother of the groom; Deven Koontz; Jenna Futten; Nathan Duke; Brandon Smith; Millie Cate Currey and Deacon Richardson.
A reception was held at the McLure Hotel.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of John Marshall High School, a 2009 graduate of Marshall University with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry and a 2012 graduate of West Virginia University with a doctorate in physical therapy. She is employed by Clarksburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
The groom is a 2004 graduate of Tyler Consolidated High School and a 2007 graduate of West Virginia University at Parkersburg with an associate degree in engineering technology-drafting. He attends Fairmont State University. He is employed by Willow Land Surveying, Pennsboro, W.Va.
After a wedding trip to Florida, the couple will reside in Bridgeport, W.Va.
