MARTINS FERRY - Martins Ferry knocked Steubenville from the ranks of the unbeaten behind 28 points and 12 rebounds from Jessica Kinney to win their opener in the MPR Industry and United Dairy Martins Ferry Holiday Tournament.
Kinney's scoring was aided by senior Kylie Stalder's eight and Meghan Rose's seven.
Emiley Masloski led Big Red (8-1) with 28 points. She was joined in double figures by Mytia Baker, who finished with 13.
