Francis and Donna Turner of Moundsville announce the engagement of their daughter, Wendy Jo Turner, to Adam Nathan Vavrek, son of Steve and Sue Vavrek of Bellaire.
Turner is a 2005 graduate of John Marshall High School and a 2011 graduate of Alderson-Broaddus College with a master's degree in physician assistant studiese. She is employed as a physician assistant at Wheeling Hospital in cardio-thoracic and vascular surgery.
Vavrek is a 2003 graduate of Bellaire High School, a 2007 graduate of Miami University with a bachelor's degree in accounting and a 2010 graduate of the University of Dayton with a Juris Doctorate. He is a practicing attorney licensed in West Virginia.
An April 6 wedding is planned at Dreams Resort, Tulum, Mexico.
