MARTINS FERRY - Union Local broke open a tie game at halftime with a 14-7 third quarter en route to holding off Martins Ferry and handing the Purple Riders their first loss of the season.
Kayla Doty topped the Jets (6-3) with 13 points, including a 10-for-10 effort from the charity stripe. Cori Medley added 12 points.
Jessica Kinney had a game-high 20 points for Martins Ferry (5-1).
