At least one person was injured in a two-vehicle, head-on collision near Fairpoint on Wednesday afternoon.
The accident occurred on Ohio 9 near the Belmont/Harrison County line.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, one person was trapped in a vehicle and unconscious. One individual was taken by medical helicopter to University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Neither their condition nor their identity was available Wednesday.
