Ruth Ann (Cuomo) Miller
MILLER, Dr. Ruth Ann (Cuomo) Ph. D, 74, of Moon Twp., died on November 8, 2012, at Lifecare in Suburban General Hospital.
She was born in Follansbee, WV, October 26, 1938, the daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Tornifolio) Cuomo.
Ruth Ann was a professor of nursing at the University of Pittsburgh and Slippery Rock University. She was a member of the Christian Assembly of Follansbee, WV.
In addition to her parents, Ruth Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Perry Kent Miller Sr. in 2002.
She is survived by her two children Perry Kent Miller Jr., Moon Twp. and Alison Scanlon (Todd), Imperial; two grandsons Brendan and Tyler Scanlon; siblings Josephine (Cuomo) Norman, Frank Cuomo Jr. (Sharon), Shirley Jean Cuomo and Joseph F. Cuomo.
Friends were received on Sunday, November 11, from 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Huntsman Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Moon Twp. (1522 Coraopolis Hts. Rd.) where a funeral service was held on Monday at 11 a.m. with her brother, Pastor Joseph F. Cuomo officiating. Entombment followed at Resurrection Cemetery, Moon Twp.
