The Intelligencer / Wheeling News-Register

Politicians on both sides of the aisle will stump for their respective presidential candidates in Jefferson County today.

Doors to the gym open at 1:30 p.m. Thursday. Jefferson County Sheriff Fred Abdalla said Clinton is expected to arrive around 2:45 p.m. and leave around 4 p.m.

Tickets are required and are available at Obama-Biden headquarters at 104 S. Fourth St. in Steubenville, as well as the Obama-Biden headquarters at 301 Fourth St. in Martins Ferry.

Indian Creek Superintendent John Rocchi said school hours will remain the same. Those attending the Clinton event can park at St. Florian Hall and ride a shuttle bus to the school.

Jefferson County Republican Party Chairman Dr. Brian Wilson said the campaign stop will feature Rep. Bill Johnson, R-Ohio, as well as Lt. Gov. Mary Taylor. They will stop near the Jefferson County Board of Elections at 117 N. Third St.

Campaign officials indicated the bus will make stops in all of Ohio's 88 counties.

It is scheduled to visit the Belmont County Board of Elections near Riesbeck's in St. Clairsville at 7:30 a.m. Friday. Johnson will speak, but Romney and Ryan are not expected to attend.
