PRESTON - Wheeling Park earned another trip to the state tournament by finishing second in the eight-team regional at Preston Country Club.
University won the tournament with a score of 231, while the Patriots were five shots back.
Parkersburg South was third, followed by Parkersburg, Brooke, Morgantown, Preston and John Marshall.
Thadd Obecny II paced Wheeling Park with a 69. Cole Hand had an 81 and Dylan Wojcik carded an 86.
Brooke's Logan Lojszczyk fired a 79, good enough to receive an individual invitation to state.
