CONNORVILLE - Amy Castle crossed the finish line first with a 19:06 to lead the St. Clairsville girls to the Buckeye 8 title.

Juliana Madzia finished second for the Red Devils, .40 ticks behind her teammate.

Sunshine Wrenn and Jamie Truchan placed third and fourth, respectively, for Martins Ferry. The Purple Riders finished third overall.

On the boys side, St. Clairsville's Alex Timko placed first with a 17:33 as the Red Devils finished second overall.

Logan McCort added a third place finish for St. C.

Indian Creek had three top five finishes behind Frank Kamarec (second), Allen Keister (fourth), and Tyler Gaydosh (fifth) to lead the Redskins to the Buckeye Eight Title.

Robert Tipton finished sixth for Harrison Central while Chayse Staten was eighth for host Buckeye Local.
