Christine Elizabeth Hajdin and Cristian Catalin Taut were united in marriage at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, Sunbury, with the Rev. David Sizemore officiating the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Michael Hajdin of Columbus and the late Regina Hajdin. She is the granddaughter of Madelyn Hajdin of Bridgeport and the late Michael Hajdin and Elvera and Andy Yanik of St. Clairsville.
The groom is the son of Katalin and Viorel Taut of Romania.
Tiffany Matthews was matron of honor. Gabriel Taut served as best man.
Other attendants were Gabriella Taut, Michael Hajdin, Alex Grigoruta, Heather Barnes, Dr. Justin Low and Jillian Zak.
A reception was held at the NorthPointe Hotel, Columbus.
The bride is a 2008 graduate of Miami University. She is pursuing a doctorate in biochemistry at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
The groom attended the Technical University of Cluj Napoca. He works in marketing in Durham, N.C.
After a wedding trip to Italy, Austria, Hungary and Romania, the couple will reside in Research Triangle Park, N.C.
