BEALLSVILLE - Garrett Emch and Brantley Hissam both shot 39 and tied for medalist honors as Magnolia topped Monroe Central and Beallsville in a triangular prep golf match Wednesday at Switzerland of Ohio Country Club.
The Blue Eagles finished with 172, followed by the Seminoles with 204 and the Blue Devils with 211. Bishop Donahue also participated, but didn't figure in the team scores.
Tanner Burkhart paced Monroe Central with a 47, while John Dietrich's 43 topped Beallsville.
Steve Gretchin fired a 40 for the Bishops.
