RICHMOND - Indian Creek was crowned sectional champion for the first time under coach Angela Penner via a victory against Buckeye Local.
Keasha Barz hit a three-run home run and winning pitcher Ashley Starr went 4-for-4 with a home run for the Redskins. Starr also pitched a complete game with seven strikeouts.
Karlee Leonard homered and drove in two for the Panthers (19-7). Kierstyn Czuchran added a pair of RBI.
Indian Creek will now face Dover at 5 p.m. on Tuesday at River View High School for the first round of Division II District play.
