Dr. Robert and Marlene Ingram of Wheeling celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary Wednesday, March 21.
They were united in marriage March 21, 1987 at First Presbyterian Church, Moundsville, by the Rev. Steven Mitchell.
Marlene Ingram is the daughter of the late William and Muriel Jones. She has worked in various administrative fields and is self-employed. She is a graduate of West Liberty State College and is an active member of the Ohio County master gardeners. She also is involved in Collegiate Alumnae of Wheeling and secretary of the Upper Ohio Valley Landlords Association and state secretary of the West Virginia Landlord Association.
Ingram is the son of the late Bud and Ruth Ingram. He is a retired school administrator and an undergraduate alumnus of West Liberty State College. He also taught for 10 years at West Liberty in the Department of Education until 2010. He also is self-employed and an active member of the Upper Ohio Valley Landlords Association.
They have two sons. The family includes Rob and his wife, Lisa, of Wheeling and Scott and his wife, Sally, of Wyoming. They have seven grandchildren.
A cross-country trip is planned for late summer.
