Crunelles Mark Golden

David and Patti Crunelle of Colerain celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Tuesday, Dec. 27.

They were united in marriage Dec. 27, 1961 at Fourth Street Methodist Church, Wheeling, by Dr. Frank Shaffer.

Patti Crunelle is the daughter of the late Bill and Sally Heilman Thomas of Wheeling. She is retired after having taught business and computers for 25 years at Wheeling and Martins Ferry high schools.

Crunelle is the son of the late Andy and Clara Naomi Crunelle of Shadyside. He is a retired teacher having taught at Wheeling, Mount Pleasant and Martins Ferry high schools. He was a wood shop teacher and assistant principal for 35 years.

They have three children. The family includes Trevor and his wife, Beth, of Mount Pleasant, S.C.; Montell and her husband, Greg Hutchison, of Marietta and Travis and his friend, Lisa Jones, and her two daughters of Mount Pleasant, S.C. They have four grandchildren.

They celebrated their golden anniversary with a family gathering and will be going on a family cruise to the western Caribbean Sea this summer.
