Albert and Ruth Warsinsky of McMechen will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary Tuesday, Jan. 10.
They were united in marriage Jan. 10, 1942 by the Rev. Kennedy of St. James Catholic Church in McMechen.
Ruth Warsinsky is retired from Rickey, Chase, Chase and Hyre law offices.
Warsinsky is a World War II veteran and a retiree from the former Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.
After spending the past 30 years wintering in Florida, the couple returns to their home in McMechen, where they still enjoy an active lifestyle.
They are the parents of four children: Martha Jane Fazzaro of St. Louis, Mo.; David Warsinsky of New Hope, Ala.; Ellen Nyles of Alpharetta, Ga., and the late John Warsinsky. They have seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
