Alison Maret Buch and Daniel Donovan Rodgers were united in marriage at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 30, at the Cathedral of St. Joseph, Wheeling, with the Rev. John Conley, C.S.C. of Notre Dame, Ind., officiating the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Joe and Caryn Buch of Wheeling.
The groom is the son of Jim and Katie Rodgers of Pheonix, Md.
Jennifer Buch, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Greg Rodgers, brother of the groom, served as best man.
Other attendants included Jen Cox, ReenAnn Downing, Stephanie McBride, Maureen Rodgers, Ted Buch, Jeff Rodgers, Ryan Rodgers, Danny Zimmerman, Daisy Reasbeck and Ellie Reasbeck.
A reception was held in the Benedum Room at Wheeling Jesuit University.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of Wheeling Park High School and a 2009 graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. She is pursuing a doctorate in neuroscience at the University of Pennsylvania.
The groom is a 2005 graduate of Loyola High School and a 2009 graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Science degree in preprofessional studies and theology. He attends Drexel University College of Medicine.
The couple resides in Philadelphia.
