Casemans Mark 50th

Lynn and Mildred "Milli" Caseman of Middlebourne celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Friday, Sept. 2.

They were united in marriage Sept. 2, 1961 at Reader Church of Christ with Jack Hayes officiating.

Milli Caseman is the daughter of the late Albert and Jesse Ueltschy. She is a graduate of Reader High School and West Virginia Northern Community College. She was employed as a registered nurse for Sistersville General Hospital. She is retired.

Caseman is the son of the late Morgan and Polly Caseman of Wellsburg. He is a graduate of Wellsburg High School, a graduate of Bethany College and a graduate of West Virginia University with a master's degree. He served in the Navy. He is retired from the Tyler County Board of Education where he served as an elementary school principal. Upon retirement, he worked for WVU Extended Learning and has taught at WVU-Parkersburg and West Liberty State College. Currently, he is an adjunct instructor at West Virginia Northern Community College, New Martinsville campus. He also preaches for Brownsville (Ohio) Church of Christ.

They are the parents of three children. The family includes Lisa and her husband, Jeff Hoskins, of Williamstown, W.Va.; Eva and her husband, Heath Stone, of Danville, Ky., and Kelli Caseman of Charleston. They have a grandson and two granddaughters.

They celebrated by touring Hoover Dam, Lake Meade, Grand Canyon, Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon and Lake Powell. A family dinner will be held later in the month.
