Wayne and Gretchen Cunningham of Wheeling announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Cunningham, to Erik Strope, son of Russ and Cheri Strope of Huber Heights, Ohio.
Cunningham is a 1998 graduate of Wheeling Park High School, a 2002 graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in music education and a 2007 graduate of Wright State University with a master's degree in educational leadership. She is employed as director of orchestras with Troy City Schools in Troy, Ohio.
Strope is a 2003 graduate of Wayne High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of Dayton with a bachelor's degree in music education. He is employed as a music teacher with Troy City Schools.
A July wedding is planned.
