George and Kandi Heightland of Powhatan Point announce the engagement of their daughter, Kayla Marie Heightland, to Matthew Paul Remke, son of Philip and Loretta Remke of Moundsville.
Heightland is a 2003 graduate of River High School and a 2005 graduate of B.M. Spurr School of Nursing.
Remke is a 2006 graduate of John Marshall High School.
A June 18 wedding is planned at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Moundsville.
