Dr. David and Patti Bowman of Wheeling announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie Bowman, to Nicholas Durkalski, son of Dr. Joseph Durkalski and Dr. Laura Miller of Wheeling.
Bowman is a 2002 graduate of Wheeling Park High School and a 2007 graduate of West Virginia University with a degree in communication studies. She is employed by the Image Group as an assistant account manager in Cleveland.
Durkalski is a 2002 graduate of Linsly and a 2006 graduate of Miami University with a degree in marketing. He is employed by Independence Medical as a national account manager in Cleveland.
A Sept. 24 wedding is planned in Wheeling.
