Rick and Lori Payne of Wheeling announce the engagement of their daughter, Danielle Elizabeth Payne, to Richard Allen Vavrock Jr., son of Rick and Janet Vavrock of Bridgeport.
Payne is a 2004 graduate of Wheeling Park High School and a 2009 graduate of West Liberty University with a Bachelor of Education degree in elementary education. She is employed at St. Michael Parish School as a music teacher.
Vavrock is a 1999 graduate of Martins Ferry High School, a 2002 graduate of Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science degree from the School of Interpersonal Communication and a 2007 graduate of Muskingum College with a Master of Arts degree in teaching. He is employed at East Richland Christian School as an athletic director and teacher.
A June 25 wedding is planned at First Christian Church, Martins Ferry.
