Melanie Marie Kourim and Aaron Christopher Packan were united in marriage at 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, at Yorkville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Tom Thomas officiating the ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Jeff and Cindy Kourim of Yorkville.
Parents of the groom are Al and Rita Packan of Uniontown, Pa.
Lora Samples was maid of honor. Kelly Harrison was matron of honor. Bernard Charnovich Jr. served as best man.
Other attendants were Megan McKim, Angela Rugola, Morgan McKim, Lindsay Sodoma, Jamie Gerhold, Albert Packan, Jeffrey Kourim, Don Rugola, Dominic Packan, Ryan Bashour, Danniel Knight, Danae Rugola, Adena Rugola and Donte Rugola.
A reception was held at the Wheeling Artisan Center.
The bride is a 1999 graduate of Buckeye Local High School and a 2001 graduate of Pittsburgh Technical Institute with a specialized associate degree in computer-aided drafting and design. She is employed by BAE Systems, Pittsburgh, as an analyst.
The groom is a 1999 graduate of Uniontown Area High School and a 2002 graduate of the International Academy of Design and Technology with an associate degree in graphic design. He is employed by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
After a wedding trip to Aruba, the couple resides in Monroeville, Pa.
