Tonya Hadjis and Pavel R. Kamaev were united in marriage at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, at Oglebay Park, Wheeling, with Ohio County Circuit Court Judge James P. Mazzone officiating the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. James A. Hadjis of Wheeling.
The groom is the son of Pavel N. Kamaev of Penza, Russia, and the late Svetlana A. Suhanova.
Donna Hadjis was matron of honor. Dr. David Tabatadze served as best man.
Emily Carter was an attendant.
A reception was held at Wilson Lodge, Oglebay Park.
The bride is a graduate of Linsly School, a graduate of Miami University and a graduate of the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. She is employed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture in Boston as a veterinary medical officer.
The groom received a doctorate from the Moscow Institute of Chemical Physics, RAS, and completed post-doctoral studies at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is employed as a senior scientist at a privately-owned research company in Boston.
After a wedding trip to Naples, Fla., the couple will reside in Lexington, Mass.
