Michelle Shonkwiler and Matthew Campbell were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 7, at Hooverson Heights Church of Christ, Follansbee, with the Rev. Daniel Cooper conducting the ceremony.
The parents of the bride are the late Philip and Delores Derby of Weirton.
The parents of the groom are the late Harry and Carol Campbell of Follansbee.
The bride was escorted by her son, Perry Shonkwiler.
Brenda Derby, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Vicki Strapazzon, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Harry Campbell, brother of the groom, served as best man.
Other attendants were Carol Thompson, Sandra Campbell, Jessica Derby, Haley Strapazzon, Rodney Smail, Brian Beatty, Brian Ritchie, Tim Feiock and Harry Campbell.
A reception was held at Wellsburg Banquet Center.
The bride is a graduate of Weir High School. She is employed as a resident assistant at The Wyngate of Weirton.
The groom is a graduate of Burgettstown High School. He is employed as a paramedic crew chief at Weirton Ambulance & Rescue Squad.
After a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple resides in Follansbee.
