Christine Lynn De Fede and Cole Mellott Elliott were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, at the Cathedral of St. Joseph, Wheeling, with Msgr. Kevin Quirk officiating.
Parents of the bride are Chad De Fede and Susan De Fede of Yorkville.
Parents of the groom are Gerald and Sharon Elliott of Shadyside.
Alison De Fede was maid of honor. Craig Elliott served as best man.

The bride is a 2003 graduate of St. John Central High School and a 2008 graduate of Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science degree in early childhood education. She is employed by the Buckeye Local School District as a teacher and by Gulla's Lunch in Bellaire.
The groom is a 2002 graduate of Shadyside High School and a 2008 graduate of Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science degree in health service administration. He is employed by Ohio Valley Medical Center as a wage and salary analyst.
The couple is planning a wedding trip in summer 2011.
