Bridgette Michelle Carpenter and Justin Michael Blake were united in marriage at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, at the Cathedral of St. Joesph, Wheeling, with Msgr. Kevin M. Quirk officiating the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Richard and Barbara Carpenter of Shadyside.
The groom is the son of Nicholas Blake of St. Clairsville and Deborah Kloeppner of Wheeling.
Shannon Sims was maid of honor. Kristin Gintz was matron of honor. Matthew Humphrey and Justin DeBlasis served as best men.

A reception was held at the Wheeling Artisan Center.
The bride is a 1999 graduate of Shadyside High School and a graduate of West Liberty University with a bachelor's degree. She is employed by Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center as director of the Child Development Center.
The groom is a 1999 graduate of Wheeling Central Catholic High School, a graduate of Muskingum College with a bachelor's degree and a graduate of West Virginia University with a Master of Public Administration degree. He is employed as marketing director of Woodsfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
After a wedding trip to Punta Cana, Mexico, the couple will reside in Wheeling.
