Michelle Knecht and Kerry Neal were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, at Edgwood Evangelical Lutheran Church, Wheeling, with the Rev. Beth Westphal officiating the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Richard and Joyce Knecht of Triadelphia.
The groom is the son of Janet Neal and Jeff Weese of Moundsville.
Melissa McLaughlin, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Rich Whitlach served as best man.
Other attendants were Billy Jo Crim; Tina Catalano; Joanna Lovett; Jolene Mestrevic; T.C. Smith; Robert "Boomer" Fry; Eric Cecil; Chuck Ernest; Coty Knecht, son of the bride; Madilynn Knecht, daughter of the bride, and Kody Neal, son of the groom.
A reception was held at the McLure House Hotel, Wheeling.
The bride is a 1994 graduate of Wheeling Park High School. She is employed at Wheeling Spine Center as office manager.
The groom is a 1998 graduate of Shadyside High School. He is employed at Environmental Protection Service.
After a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple will reside in Wheeling.
