James A. Myers

MYERS, James A. "Jim," 65, of Wellsburg, W.Va., passed away on Friday, July 25, 2008, in Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling, W.Va.

He was born on January 5, 1943, in Maryland, a son of the late James F. and Arbutus Rohrbaugh Myers.

Jim retired from Smith Trucking, where he worked as a truck driver.

He was Christian by faith; and was a member of the Lock Ten Bass Club.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a half-sister, JoAnn Grimm.

Surviving is his wife, JoAnn (Kerns) Myers at home.; one son, Bill Myers and wife, Denise, of Wellsburg; one daughter, Penny Myers; one sister, Frances Metz of Westernport, Md.; a stepbrother, W. Thomas Snyder; two step-sisters, Rebecca Goleno and Catherine Hawkins-Farnsworth both of Ohio; a half-sister, Sue Clark of Ohio; two half-brothers, Steve Keplinger and Jessie Keplinger; and five grandchildren, Jennifer, Brandon, Danielle, and Brittany Myers, and Jessica Myers.

Friends will be received on Monday, July 28, 2008, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at the Mullenbach Funeral Home, 669 Main St., Follansbee, W.Va., where services will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2008, at 11 a.m., with Larry Lemasters, Minister, officiating.

Interment will follow in Highland Hills Memorial Gardens in Follansbee.
