Manchin Boasts Backing In W.Va.

Democrat’s success in red state could be roadmap for others

December 26, 2013

FRIENDLY, W.Va. (AP) — Many locals around here see Sen. Joe Manchin as one of them, so much so they greet the 30-year veteran of West Virginia politics by his first name more often than by his titl....

Heritage has a good article on how much those 11 million illegals will cost the US over the next 20 years!

***********heritage****/research/reports/2013/05/the-fiscal-cost-of-unlawful-immigrants-and-amnesty-to-the-us-taxpayer

Both the liberal and conservative think tanks put the total over $120 billion per year. For $40 billion contract I would be glad to see that 11 million illegals are deported. That is a 800 billion saving over the next 10 years (political deficit reduction formula)!

Joe Manchin is actively doing the bidding of Obama and Bloomberg in seeking to take away our Second Amendment rights - and then he gets himself photographed with a hunting rifle and West Virginians figure he really is one of us after all! Wake up, WV.

The Affordable Care Act passed before he took office, but Manchin tells voters "the intentions were right" and insists that a full repeal isn't practical or beneficial. Even as he criticized implementation of the health care law, Manchin said Congress' job is to make it work.

Well traitor Joe as you WELL know, this action is a DIRECT and BLATENT violation of the Constitution!!!

You know, the one you SWORE to "uphold and defend"!!!!

This is in fact TREASON!!!!!

We are increasingly a country of extreme voices, one side screaming more loudly than the other. In these times I like the middle of the road and some how Manchin maintains that balance. I'll vote for him again. It's the only way we get out of the mud and walking a better path.

thewoods, Mojo has a voting record that can be searched for the last 30 years! Don't pay attention to what his lips say, pay attention to what his voting RECORD is!

Sen. Manchin is popular in WV and for the most part he has assumed the role as a centrist, but occasionally he gets just a little to folksy to be taken seriously. I would give him a B+ grade and hope he continues with a "for the good of the country" attitude.

Look no further than the fact that mojo raised $9+ million in his US Senate race, of which 70% was from interests outside of good ole West Virginia! Why do you vote for people that are bought and sold in the other 49 states?

manchin supported obamacare. The only noise he made was regarding coal and the heavy hand of the EPA. He had a party on his yacht with turncoat republicans on it to implement gun control. He says one thing to your face and quite another when the cameras are on. We need Capito to get elected Senator to offset some of Broadway Joe's liberal crap!

Joe's daughter, Heather Bresch, lied about having an MBA that she knew she did not earn.

Did Mylan fire her? NO! Instead, she was promoted to CEO!

Obviously, Joe has taught his daughter well.

muckraker, "We need Capito!" What we really need is someone that is NOT a career politician....

I don't much like Joe's style of shucking & jiving political style. He who plays 'middle of the road' plays a risky game.

Though 'slick' can be close to 'slimy' he has at least so far avoided a stretch in the Federal Pen like Arch Moore had.

As for Arch's politician daughter...well, as they say...'the acorn don't fall far from the Oak'.

Manchin just seems to flip flop too much for me to believe in his stand on any issue. What was his stand on his daughter getting a MBA from WVU?
