September 23, 2013

Even though Gulfport Energy had to pay a $250,000 fine for “ground contamination” at some eastern Ohio Utica Shale operations recently, the driller continues pumping large quantities of natural gas....

if you checked every well site you would find them all to have ground contamination.you can't make this much of a mess and not spill stuff.take soil samples from all of them and see what you come up with.fracking fluid can have anything in it.

So mikeyd is ready to shut down ALL industry in America because they ALL "spill stuff."

When that kind of "thinking" gets its way, welcome to the second stone age. Where we live in huts, heated by wood fires, wearing animal skins, and survive on weeds and bugs, just to be sure nobody "spills stuff." ugh...

"if you checked every well site you would find them all to have ground contamination"

Wow, that's quite an investigative feat! How did you check so many wells all by yourself!?!?

Karma will end up kicking toolboy.........he or someone that he cares about (if he has any friends or loved ones) will suffer as a result of this. For anyone to be so uneducated of this business, while sitting on the NR, insulting others, day in and out, will be rewarded with Karma.......watch and see..........

wonder, considering your blind faith in the Obamamessiah and in manmade global warming, I’m not surprised you believe in “karma” and your ability to cast spells with it. LOL

Hey wonder, are you still heating your home with that cheap natural gas at the same time you’re bashing the companies that provide it to you? Hypocrite. Walk the talk, karma chameleon. LOL

5 million gallons of fracking fluid per well with no spills would be amazing.if soil samples from all of these well sites are checked i would take bets that the ground around them are contaminated.who will be responsible for the clean-up?the gas companies, land owners or taxpayers?

mikeyd, are you insisting that every industrial site in America be spill-free? That no toxic chemicals EVER be spilled ANYWHERE? You may as well shut down all industry in the country, then. And tell Wilma Rubble you’ll be bringing brontosaurus ribs home for her to cook in the fireplace.

troll,we'll all know how clean this energy is before too long.i'm just hoping that the taxpayers aren't responsible for the clean-ups.landowners profited and the gas companies profited.watch this come back to bite the taxpayers in the butt.

mikeyd, you need to send a strong signal to the gas companies. Turn off your gas furnace. Stop buying food grown with gas-derived fertilizers and products containing gas-derived plastics. If everyone who opposes the gas industry would just walk the talk those profits would vanish and this dirty gas industry would just go away.

Still waiting for a single example of a water supply contaiminated by fracking fluid ANYWHERE in the Ohio Valley... yawn...

What cleanup? Show me a case where a Marcellus gas industry company hasn't cleaned up its own mess. Show me one example of harm done by the gas industry to anyone anywhere in the Ohio Valley.

Do you intend to shut down all industries in America because they MIGHT spill something? Seriously? LOL

Ok fine. You don’t want to shut them down. But maybe we could see some actual harm before we start marching with the pitchforks and torches?

Ok, I know you don't have any pitchforks and torches...

yet...
